Safety Vision Announces Staff Expansion

Growth in staffing follows surveillance company's move to larger facility

Safety Vision, a provider of mobile rear-view, side-view, and onboard surveillance camera systems, has expanded its Houston headquarters staff with three recent hires: Account Executive Joe McCleary, Buyer Yvette Flores, and Billing Clerk April Morrison.

McCleary brings more than 15 years of telecommunications and information technology sales expertise; this experience is a neat fit with Safety Vision's sophisticated line of electronic products. Flores's solid procurement and expediting experience will prove invaluable, as the company has stepped up turnaround of an expanding product line. Morrison, a graduate of the Texas School of Business, joins the company with expertise in international shipping -- a plus, as Safety Vision has extensive international business dealings.

McCleary, Flores, and Morrison ride a recent wave of staff expansion propelled by the company's vigorous growth.

According to Safety Vision President/CEO Bruce Smith, "This is shaping up to be a breakout year. We're enjoying growth on all sides: We've introduced several new models to our line of digital and analog mobile video recorders, we've expanded our suite of collision avoidance products, we've seen our sales staff more than double since early 2004, and we're entering broader international marketplaces."

Emblematic of the company's growth was its May 2005 move to a new corporate headquarters. Situated on 7 acres, the new HQ combines expanded office and research & development space with a four-tier, high-storage logistics warehouse. "The move was strategic," says Smith. "By consolidating all operations on one campus, we're able to streamline operations and improve process efficiencies. Ultimately, the customer benefits: Our team is more cohesive, our service is more responsive, and we're able to pass time and cost savings along to our customers."
