Ed Suski joins IQinVision

Suski named vice president and chief technology officer

San Juan Capistrano, CA, January 17, 2012—IQinVision, market leader in high-performance HD megapixel IP cameras, today announced the appointment of 20-year security industry veteran, Ed Suski, as the company's new Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

Ed's wide-ranging background includes a BSEE degree, years of research and development resulting in 10 US patents, and numerous concept products that include facial recognition systems with wireless handheld delivery for the United States Secret Service and FIPS 140-2 level 4 tamper reactive, secure servers for the Microsoft Corporation.

Ed held the positions of Chief Technology Officer/Global Technology Leader at two Fortune 50 corporations, General Electric and United Technologies Corporation. He is skilled at building highly talented and diverse engineering and product teams focused on hardware and software solutions.

At both General Electric and UTC, Ed led the development of not only cameras, but also storage devices (NVRs and DVRs) and Video Management Software designed to manage cameras and recorders. He has also overseen the engineering development of fiber transmission product lines and the engineering product development for a full line of cameras, recorders, and video management software. In addition, Ed has experience developing wireless and cellular video surveillance products as well as mobile camera and recorder platforms.
