ESX 2012 – Nashville, TN – June 27, 2012 – RedCloud, the industry's fastest growing provider of web-based, physical access control systems, today announced an innovative, physical access control “as-a-service” offering that significantly lowers the barrier to entry for security and IT systems integrators to deliver cloud-based access control as a hosted or managed service, without investing in expensive servers or extensive IT infrastructure, all while allowing VARs to generate recurring monthly revenue from day one.

Security integrators can leverage RedCloud’s “as-a-service” offering to easily manage all aspects of building access control for their customers as an online, monthly subscription service – from a few doors at a single facility to hundreds or thousands of doors across multiple customers and locations – by hosting and maintaining RedCloud’s network appliances from the integrator’s facility or data center and integrating with the non-proprietary door controllers and card readers that are installed at each customer location.

“The RedCloud platform has allowed M3T Corporation to offer an affordable, robust access control solution to clients using a managed service model customized specifically to fit a variety of organizations,” said Angela Starner, Technical Services Manager, M3T Corporation, a RedCloud authorized integrator of access control and enterprise security solutions. “RedCloud is a system that will grow with client needs while leveraging today’s technology 'in the cloud.’ As security budgets tighten, subscription-based cloud solutions become more attractive for the right size clients.”

With RedCloud’s “as-a-service” offering, RedCloud’s line of all-in-one, web-based access control network appliances are available for authorized integrators to purchase on a flexible, annual subscription or lease-to-own basis, reducing up-front capital expenses and lowering equipment costs, while allowing integrators to own their customer accounts by selling access to their own network appliance, rather than an access control manufacturers’ servers.

“We firmly believe that innovation should not be confined to products, but extend to forward-thinking services that enable our nationwide network of authorized integrators to grow their businesses,” said Bill Moran, Vice President of Sales, RedCloud. “By leveraging RedCloud to deliver physical access control ‘as-a-service,’ security integrators and resellers benefit from a predictable new revenue stream and affordable hardware costs, along with the competitive advantage that comes from offering customers cloud-based access control.”

RedCloud’s web-based access control platform provides organizations the flexibility to manage facility access anytime, anywhere, from any web browser on a laptop, desktop or mobile device, instead of a dedicated client workstation.
