Agreement to enable Lenel to resell EasyLobby Secure Visitor Management software

IRVINE, Calif., July 9, 2012 – HID Global, trusted leader in solutions for the delivery of secure identity, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Lenel Systems International, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise software, integrated systems and access control systems, that will enable Lenel to resell HID Global’s EasyLobby Secure Visitor Management software as part of a comprehensive solution that is integrated with its Lenel OnGuard advanced access control application.

“This agreement with HID Global enables Lenel to offer our customers a comprehensive solution that combines our Lenel OnGuard advanced access control with the enterprise-class EasyLobby SVM application,” said Jim Crowley, product marketing manager, Lenel. “Our customers can now employ a single, integrated security solution that includes access control and visitor management capability.”

“We are pleased to be extending our relationship with Lenel,” said Howard Marson, vice president and general manager with EasyLobby, an HID Global business. “We have been a certified Lenel Open Access Alliance Program partner for years, offering a more efficient method for managing visitors by enabling lobby attendants to issue proximity cards or barcoded badges to visitors or contractors directly from the EasyLobby station to open a door, turnstile or activate an elevator controlled by OnGuard. Now, Lenel will be offering these solutions to its customers, as well.”

HID Global’s EasyLobby SVM solutions have rapidly become the de facto standard in providing corporations, government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare and property management customers with the most feature-rich, yet easy-to-use, visitor management capabilities. EasyLobby SVM integration with the Lenel OnGuard access control system enables OnGuard end users to grant different levels of access to visitors, contractors and employees from the EasyLobby SVM visitor station. When a visitor or contractor is badged using SVM, the information is automatically passed from the SVM database to the OnGuard system, and the prox card or barcode is activated in real-time. When the visitors checks out of EasyLobby, the OnGuard system is immediately notified and the card is deactivated. The integration between the EasyLobby SVM and OnGuard application gives customers more flexibility to quickly and easily grant proximity card or barcode access to visitors or contractors that require it, without lobby attendants needing to interface with the access system.
