Per Mar Security Services is pleased to announce that Julie Klaus has joined the company as Director of Human Resources at Per Mar Centre in Davenport. She joined us in May with over 20 years of progressive Human Resource experience and is responsible for overseeing the entire Human Resources Department.
Originally hailing from Northwest Indiana, Julie is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communication and Education. She is certificated as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), a member of Society for Human Resources Management, Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, and Management Resource Group.
Julie most recently held the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources with American Bank & Trust Company. She has been a resident of the Quad Cities since 1982 and we are grateful to have her as part of the family!
We would also like to welcome Brian Duffy to the position of General Manager at our Cedar Rapids branch operation. He joined Per Mar in June of this year and is responsible for overseeing the Electronic Security operations for this branch.
Brian is a Davenport native and has a degree from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Economics and a supplemental major in Computer Applications. His work experience includes internships with Per Mar and Senator Charles Grassley in D.C. He then worked at Capital One in Richmond, Virginia where he started as a Business Analyst and was quickly promoted to Senior Business Analyst only one year into the job. We are very pleased to have Brian on the team and as the third generation of Per Mar!
