Bob Barry will handle the New York City area

Springfield, Missouri — February 25, 2013 --  Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has named Bob Barry as Dealer Development Manager for the New York City area. He will be responsible for developing new sales and providing on-going service to DMP-authorized dealers throughout the city, helping them to grow their businesses.

“It is very valuable for business people to have a deep understanding of the market they serve,” said Matt Schweiger, Director of Sales, East. “You would have a hard time finding someone with a better understanding of his territory than Bob. Born in the Bronx, educated in nearby Long Island and with previous sales experience in New York City, he knows this area well. That inside knowledge combined with his education and business experience should be very beneficial to the authorized dealers he will support.”

Before joining DMP, Bob was Access Control Manager with Mul-T-Lock, where he developed a customer base for access control systems in the lower New York state area. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering at the City College of New York, and his MBA at the Long Island University C. W. Post Campus.

He pursued additional quality-related training, earning a Six Sigma Green Belt. He shares his knowledge of the security field in his part-time role as a physical security professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Farmingdale College (East Farmingdale NY).
