CSC is the first company to achieve SAFETY Act Designation for both crowd management and event security services.

Northridge, CA -- July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), the leader in crowd management and event security, announces that its services have been "Designated" as Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) by the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act (SAFETY Act) of 2002. CSC's QATT includes physical security, access control, and crowd management, as well as quality assurance procedures comprised of vetting and training employees; periodic internal, external and Red Team assessments of CSC's effectiveness; and an annual review process.

The SAFETY Act encourages the development and deployment of new and innovative anti-terrorism products and services by providing liability protections for both the sellers and the users. Liability for the seller is capped at the amount of liability insurance that DHS requires the seller to maintain, and claims against SAFETY Act covered products and services can only be brought against the seller; making the user immune from liability. CSC is the first company to achieve SAFETY Act Designation for both crowd management and event security services.

"We have always strived to remain at the top of our industry, and this Designation highlights our continuing commitment to provide superior services that will contribute to the fight against terrorism and the ultimate goal of keeping America safe," said Damon Zumwalt, CSC's Founder and CEO. "We are extremely honored to receive this groundbreaking award and also pleased with the impact that it will have on our existing clients, as they will benefit from the liability protections associated with our Designation."
