Company sets sights on 'Dealer Bonanza' at ISC West 2014

Alarm dealers searching for products and services that not only increase RMR, but also give them a competitive edge, found them at the COPS Monitoring booth at ISC East.  First up was VidCom, COPS Monitoring’s comprehensive suite of leading remote video monitoring and surveillance services that integrate some of the best names in the business to provide affordable state-of-the-art technology.  Other advantages included enhancements to MPower; COPS’ advanced dealer access program, and demonstrations of “MPower Me” subscriber smartphone, tablet, and PC account access and how dealers can improve customer satisfaction and reduce attrition by having it private labeled with their own brand.  The team also discussed other programs exclusive to COPS Monitoring such as marketing support, equipment purchase discounts, and various funding programs that give dealers requiring capital the support they need to grow their business.

After an energetic first day on show floor, COPS Monitoring switched gears and hosted a relaxing dinner for nearly 70 alarm dealers at premier Brazilian Steakhouse Churrascaria Plataforma.  “We look forward to industry tradeshows,” says Don Maden, COPS Monitoring’s Executive Vice President.  “Not only do they allow us to give alarm dealers firsthand experience with our products and services that can give them competitive advantages, but we also get the opportunity to connect with our customers.”

“We make every effort to meet with our dealers in person whenever possible,” continues Maden.  “We do this at each of our six central stations by holding dealer meetings and sponsoring industry training throughout the year.  However, since we have customers in Canada, the Caribbean, and just about every state in the US, it’s just not practical for many dealers to travel to our offices.  This is why we host our dealer appreciation events in conjunction with several industry tradeshows.  The dinners not only allow us to show our appreciation, they also give dealers a break from their busy schedules and provide a venue where alarm dealers from all over  the country can network, share ideas, and just unwind and have a good time.”

“ISC East was great, but now we’re looking forward to our Bonanza at ISC West in April.  It’s a real game changer,” declared Maden.  “We rent out all of Gilley’s and treat our guests to dinner, cocktails, live music, line dancing, door prizes, and even a mechanical bull riding competition.  We had over 550 people at our 2013 Bonanza.  We’re already busy planning the improvements to our upcoming 2014 Bonanza, and we’re expecting to top 650 attendees.”

Maden explained that the Dealer Bonanza is free to all alarm dealers, but also said that space is limited and encourages those interested in attending to visit http://copsmonitoring/bonanza.

COPS Monitoring provides alarm monitoring and dealer services to over 3,500 alarm dealers representing nearly one million accounts from its six load sharing central stations located in New Jersey, Florida, Arizona, Tennessee, Maryland, and Texas.
