International Security Management Association announces new executive director

Elizabeth Chamberlin assumes executive role after serving as Deputy Director

The International Security Management Association (ISMA), a premier international security association of senior security executives from major business organizations located worldwide, has announced the selection of Elizabeth (“Liz”) Chamberlin, JD as its new executive director.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” reported Bonnie Michelman, President of ISMA’s Board of Directors, and Director of Police, Security and Outside Services at Massachusetts General Hospital/Partners Health Care. “Liz will bring leadership, professionalism and creativity to ISMA’s programs, as well as a deep sense of commitment to member services.”

Liz’s resume includes over 5 years’ experience as a litigator at a major law firm. She has spent the last five years working as ISMA’s Deputy Executive Director. She has a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. 

“I look forward to continuing to serve the ISMA membership and the broader security industry,” remarks Liz.  “I have a steadfast sense of dedication to ISMA and the work it does supporting our members’ contributions to enhancing professional and business standards.”

ISMA is a 501(c)(6) non-partisan not for profit organization with a mission to provide and support an international forum of selected security executives whose combined expertise will be utilized in a synergistic manner in developing, organizing, assimilating, and sharing knowledge within security disciplines for the ultimate purpose of enhancing professional and business standards.
