    • The Tane 86 overhead garage door contact is a floor mount mini in size. Dimensions are 2 ¼” long by beveled 3/8” high. This allows the installer to mount the contact out of the way in warehouse applications. The overall gap is almost 3 inches with a leeway for the magnet to go 2 inches off center if the door moves in or out as a result of a storm. The contact is bar cast aluminum with no epoxy on the underside to deteriorate over time. The magnet housing is angled to not allow it to be used as a step for closing the door. The TANE-86 comes with commercial grade flexible armored cable. This design allows a unique use for normal doors in commercial applications by mounting the contact on the door frame and magnet on the door, thus making it hard for vandals to abuse.
