Version 4.2 of Video Insight’s education-focused IP Video Management System includes support for more than 675 camera models from 50 manufacturers including Axis, Arecont, ACTi, Sony, Panasonic, IQEye, and Infinova. Other features include: A universal camera drive supporting most cameras with HTTP or RTSP connections; full support for Windows 7; an iPhone, Blackberry and Android Client, including viewing live, recorded and PTZ control; supports for H.264, MJPEG, MPEG4, and Wavelet-based compression; full facility map support including multi-level mapping for a complete district or campus view; and support for iSCSI storage devices. The system requires little or no training for the school administrator.
