LAS VEGAS, NV (March 28, 2012) – Panasonic is displaying its expanded line of i-PRO Series network cameras here at the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC West) in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 28th – 30th. The new line which includes 22 new models offers a range of resolutions from VGA to 1080p in multiple configurations to fill virtually any video surveillance system application.
New offerings that will be introduced at this year's ISC West include Panasonic's premium "5 series," 1080p full HD cameras that incorporate the Enhanced UniPhier LSI Processor for additional smart functionality; the mid-range "3 series" including 720p resolution pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) domes and new outdoor weather-resistant box cameras; and the "1 series" of value-priced, low-profile dome cameras with advanced technologies such as face detection and Super Dynamic features.

The new "3 series" cameras include Super Dynamic Outdoor/Indoor PTZ network cameras that feature 36x optical zoom, 720p HD and advanced auto tracking. Panasonic's WV-SW396 outdoor PTZ camera features H.264 HD/720p images, Super Dynamic with face detection, and provides 72x additional optical zoom when used in VGA resolution. WV-SC386 is a similar camera for indoor applications.
Also new in the "3 series" range are the WV-SW314, WV-SW316 and WV-SW316L, outdoor network box cameras providing easy installation and an IP66 weather-resistant housing. In addition to H.264 image processing and 720p resolution, the cameras feature Super Dynamic with Face Detection and a wide angle of view. The WV-SW316 is equipped with a motorized varifocal lens to enable the zoom ratio to be adjusted using operation buttons and the setup menu. The WV-SW316L also has a built-in infrared LED illuminator for low-light viewing.
The Panasonic SmartHD "1 series" are compact and stylish domes that offer the highest image quality in this price range for almost any environment, including buildings, retail, factories, restaurants and hospitals. Compact in size and value priced, these cameras are equipped with the latest Panasonic advanced technologies, including face detection and Super Dynamic. The UniPhier® chip provides high picture quality, multiple H.264 high-profile streams, real-time HD video processing and on-device intelligence support. The cameras also use a high sensitivity RGB MOS image sensor.
The Panasonic WV-SW155 is a 720p HD outdoor compact dome camera for mobile solutions featuring H.264 compression and Super Dynamic with face detection. The IP66/vandal-resistant camera offers a 104-degree wide angle field of view. Panasonic's WV-SW152 offers similar features providing SVGA image resolution. WV-SW155M and WV-SW152M provide an M12 pigtail instead of a standard RJ-45 connector.
WV-SF135 is a 720p H.264 indoor compact dome camera that combines compact design, a 104-degree wide angle field of view, face detection, and Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS).
WV-SF132 is similar but offers VGA resolution.
Also new at ISC West are a series of indoor/outdoor pan-tilt (PT) cameras including an outdoor HD camera offering wireless transmission. WV-SW175 is an outdoor 720p HD H.264 camera providing easy and simple operation with pan-tilt control. Other features include wide dynamic range (WDR) with face detection and an 85-degree field of view. WV-SW174W is a similar wireless camera incorporating an IEEE802.11n Wireless LAN. WV-ST165 is an indoor 720 HD camera. SVGA cameras with similar attributes are the WV-SW172 outdoor SVGA and the
WV-ST162 indoor SVGA.
