Name of appSchlage aptiQmobile

Authoring company: Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies

Description of functionality: The Schlage aptiQmobile web-based key management system sends access control credentials over the air to Near Field Communications (NFC)-enabled smartphones, letting people use their phones to enter buildings in place of their smart-card ID badges. To turn these smartphones into a credential, one simply downloads the aptiQmobile app to the smart phone and uses it to retrieve a secure mobile key set up by the access control site administrator. Once the mobile key is downloaded, the user opens the app and taps it to the reader just like using a smart card. It’s very secure and extremely easy to use.
