Ottawa, Ontario – Senstar Corporation, a world-leader in outdoor perimeter intrusion detection sensor (PIDS) technologies, today announced the launch of FiberLR, a new and innovative long range fiber optic multi-application sensor.
FiberLR offers the most advanced long range Fiber Optic PIDS technology available, with accurate location detection of intruders at 8 meters (25 feet). With a single sensor unit, FiberLR can protect perimeters of up to 48 kilometers (30 miles) in length and can be applied in fence, wall, and buried applications as well as pipelines, with low NAR / FAR (Nuisance / False Alarm Rate).
