Simplified pricing, additional free features and expanded functionality highlight version 6.3

(April 22, 2013) – DVTEL, INC., the video surveillance solutions provider, has released the newest version of its Latitude open platform network video management system (NVMS), Latitude6.3, which allows for streamlined provisioning of client software with automatic updates, includes enhanced GIS map integration and fault tolerant recording using storage on the edge.

Latitude 6.3 also introduces enhanced capabilities for DVTEL’s TruWitness, a transportable surveillance solution that enables users to usetheir smart phones as an IP video surveillance camera. With the new version of TruWitness, users can add remote camera feeds to the ControlCenter interface to track and communicate in real time with TruWitness-enabled devices. Users can upload video to ControlCenter while GIS maps deliver precise location and identification. Users can also make voice calls while streaming live video to a central command center.

Simplified pricing and expanded base-license functionality for Latitude 6.3 makes it easier and more cost effective than ever to use the powerful and versatile platform.
