Santa Fe Springs, Calif.- June 25, 2013 – Swann, the global leader in user-friendly security monitoring solutions, announces the release of its new state-of-the-art 4200 Series TruBlue 960H DVR featuring widescreen DVD-quality high resolution video, perfect for 16:9 monitors. Capable of providing high resolution video images that are 34% larger than ‘D1’ and more than 500% or 5 x larger than standard ‘CIF’ Security Systems, the Swann TruBlue 4200 range is available in 4, 8, 9 and 16 channel versions and is sold in combination with powerful day/night high resolution security cameras.
This exciting new DIY TruBlue 4200 series are unique systems which display a sharper, more detailed image on your widescreen TV or monitor, without typical distortion or pixilation. Every image contains 960 horizontal pixels and 480 vertical pixels, giving the desired 960H higher resolution recording. With real-time 30 frames per second live viewing and playback, the video generates a faster and far superior viewing experience. In addition to a USB port that enables hassle-free video backup on a USB flash drive, the user-friendly 960H houses a robust SATA2 hard drive (capacities vary depending on the particular DVR model) capable of continuous recording for weeks at a time.
Typically the 4200 series DVRs are paired with the PRO-642 range of cameras featuring powerful CCD image sensors and 700TVL image resolution capable of producing DVD-quality images far in excess of typical security equipment. The cameras also have powerful night vision up to 82 feet and are water proof rated to IP67, meaning they are perfect for indoor or outdoor use.
