Company debuts wide range of new products at recent ASIS conference

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 28, 2015 – Interlogix, a global leader in security and life-safety solutions, is highlighting a new line of networking products at ASIS 2015. Solutions include IFS® network switches, which bring high-speed Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) performance; high-power Power over Ethernet (PoE) options and innovative diagnostic tools for the installation and maintenance of commercial-networked IP video systems. Interlogix is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

“Interlogix offers a full range of networking switches to meet the needs of any size organization,” said Mike Chiavacci, general manager, video solutions, Interlogix. “Some of the exciting products being shown at ASIS 2015 include Web-smart network switches, power-over-coax switches and wireless access point solutions to help solve network transmission challenges in cost-effective ways.”

IFS Power-over-Coax network switches with 8- or 16-BNC ports provide transmission of IP video over existing coax, while offering power on the coax that eliminates the need for local power at the IP camera location. These are fully managed L2 switches with robust PoE management features and include PD-alive checking to monitor the health and status of connected IP cameras. The switches can also automatically reboot the camera to restart operation if needed without technician or administrator intervention, helping to reduce service calls and improve system reliability and recovery.

The new ES Series of Web smart PoE+ switches are a cost-effective network switch solution for small- to mid-sized IP-camera surveillance systems. Available in 8-, 16- or 24-port Fast Ethernet PoE+ configurations, the switches meet the need of providing Fast Ethernet ports for IP cameras with GigE ports for NVR/server connections.

The IFS 24-port Layer 3 PoE+ Stackable Switch will allow for stacking of up to 16 switches, for up to 384 ports, via 10Gig connections, and can be managed by a single IP address. This is a great solution for growing organizations with future plans to expand their existing IP video network.

Each of these products will be demonstrated in the UTC booth, #3901, and will be available this fall through Interlogix channel partners. For more information, visit www.interlogix.com or follow @Interlogix on Twitter.
