A SEOS system uses a phone APP to control unlocking. While competitors require up to four procedures to operate locks with a cell phone, the ASSA ABLOY SEOS APP requires just one press of their APP button.  Real Living products from Yale have now been designed to operate with existing alarm systems such as OEM partner Honeywell. This NexTouch system provides a low-cost way to add keyless access control since many small businesses already have an alarm system installed.

Custom designed systems were announced for use in apartment complexes. Card-operated systems can be remotely monitored and card access immediately restricted if rental charges are unpaid.

ASSA ABLOY Inteligent key access is a combination of a mechanical key and intelligent electronics contained in the keybow. "The brains are in the Key" according to ASSA ABLOY.  Accurate audit trails of key usage are automatically recorded each time the key is used.
