GE Appoints Six Company Officers

Gregory Burge named vice president of networked solutions for GE Security

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - GE has announced the appointment of six new company officers.

On the security side of the company, Gregory Burge, 50, is vice president, Networked Solutions, GE Security. Most recently Burge was General Manager of Security's Networked Solutions business which designs, manufactures and distributes security solutions and information services to the residential, commercial, real estate/automotive and shipping port markets. Burge joined GE in 2002 as part of GE's acquisition of the Interlogix Security business. Before joining GE in 2002, Burge was President of Supra Systems based in Salem, Oregon. Burge received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1977.

In other divisions: Deborah Elam, 44, is Vice President & Chief Diversity Officer. Steven Fludder, 45, is Vice President, Sales, for GE Water & Process Technologies. Daniel C. Janki, 37, is Vice President, Corporate Investor Relations. Akihiko (Kiko) Kumagai, 49, is President & CEO, GE Consumer Finance, Japan. Brian Worrell, 36, is Vice President, Corporate Audit Staff.
