The acquisition is expected to add 400,000 residential and commercial customers to ADT’s rolls, including 31,000 contract monitoring accounts. The deal is expected to close this summer and will be funded by cash on hand and an existing line of credit. In addition, ADT also announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2014 in which the company saw a slight increase in both overall revenue and recurring revenue compared to the same time period in 2013.
