Las Vegas — SecurityTronix announces immediate availability of the HD-BOSS CCTV tester/meter. Based on the extremely popular SecurityTronix IP BUDDY+ series, this new model enables monitoring the video output of analog and HDoC cameras. HDoC formats supported are: HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD and even HD-SDI, a format not supported by many other CCTV test monitors. In addition, it provides network cable testing functions and a multi-function electrical test meter.
“The IP BUDDY+ test meter series set the standard for comprehensive, easy IP, analog and High Definition over Coax camera setup and monitoring” states Jennifer Kern, Product Line Manager for the SecurityTronix brand. The HD BOSS tester is a marriage of hardware and software, and many functions are fully realized by the impressive array of accessories included with the unit. SecurityTronix Technician John San Agustin explained the reason for so many included accessories, this way: “When a tester can perform so many functions, it would be a disservice to our customers to omit these vital items. The meter can power a 12VDC camera, so we include the jumper cable needed to do that. It can also monitor audio, coax video, operate RS485 PTZ devices, so we include all the test jumpers for those functions.” San Agustin concluded.
