Dr. Toshihiko Ochi joins Visualant Scientific Advisory Board
Seattle, WA – (May 14 2013) Visualant, Inc. (OTCBB: VSUL) – an industry-leading provider of chromatic-based identification and diagnostic solutions with its ChromaID™ technology, announced today that Dr. Toshihiko Ochi has joined its Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr. Ochi is a Manager of Business Development at Sumitomo Precision Products, where he has led engineering work on the transfer of the Visualant technology to product. He received his B.S. degree in physics from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 1986 and Dr. Eng. degree from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1997. From 1986 to 1990, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Nagasaki University, Nagasaki, Japan. From 2009 to 2011, he served as a part-time Lecturer in the Graduate School of Engineering at Kobe University, Kobe, Japan.
