Defense Technology Systems Receives Security Order from Large Retail Pharmacy Chain

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Defense Technology Systems, Inc. (DFTS) announced that DWS Defense Systems, the company's security subsidiary, has received an order in excess of $300,000 from a national retail pharmacy chain to provide security cameras and digital video recorders. The Company will be supplying equipment from ClickIT Inc. as part of its recently announced distribution agreement. Phil Rauch, COO of DFTS stated, "It is exciting to consummate a new distribution agreement and the first sale of new product offering in such quick succession. With the recognition of this revenue in our first fiscal quarter, we are starting our new year on a strong note."
Dan McPhee, President of DFTS added, "We welcome this well-known pharmacy chain to our list of security clients. This is the first video surveillance security order of what we anticipate will be several large orders from this significant customer. As this client becomes familiar with the capabilities of ClickIT's ground-breaking digital video recorder (DVR) technology, we anticipate expanding our relationship to include more retail locations."
