Yale Locks & Hardware introduces nexTouch™, the next generation of keypad access control. Featuring an advanced voice-guided system to simplify user programming and maintenance, Yale nexTouch is available with a capacitive touchscreen that is intuitive and easy to use, as well as an ADA-compliant push button keypad option for more tactile environments. The nexTouch cylindrical lock fits easily into standard door preps for effortless installation and features a new privacy button that prevents access from the outside.
A truly scalable solution, nexTouch can be used as a stand-alone keypad lock that uses a PIN code to manage access; can easily be upgraded to utilize Data-on-Card technology as part of the Yale Multi-Family Solution; or can be upgraded for easy expansion of Zigbee or Z-Wave capable alarm systems in small business environments. The ability to install a single lock that can utilize multiple technologies allows facilities to minimize their investment costs while providing an easy migration path to more connected systems.
