WASHINGTON , Jan. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) President Joe A. Garcia will deliver the 8th annual State of Indian Nations address on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 from the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. The speech will coincide with the release of President Barack Obama's budget.

Themes will include: Indian Country's priorities for the Obama Administration and the 111th Congress; economic development; health care; the protection of American Indian tribal sovereignty; homeland security; and the many other issues currently facing Indian nations.
