Frank Pisciotta Named to ASIS General Security Risk Assessment Committee

Pisciotta to help revise best practices for physical security risk assessments

Frank Pisciotta, CSC has been appointed to the General Security Risk Assessment Committee for ASIS International. This committee is responsible for revising the internationally published physical security risk assessment best practice. This document is used by security professionals throughout the world to identify, analyze and communicate security risks to their leadership.

Pisciotta was asked to join this group of industry security leaders because he has extensive experience conducting risk assessments, as well as teaching clients and peers how to identify and counter security risks. The committee expects to complete its revisions in 2007.

ASIS is an international organization of 34,000 private security professionals. Pisciotta is the chairperson of the 110 member Rochester Chapter of ASIS International and serves on the Agriculture And Food Security Ad Hoc Council. Pisciotta, president of Business Protection Specialists in Canandaigua, is one of only 26 Americans to have earned the prestigious, international CSC (Certified Security Consultant) designation.
