Classroom Intruder Cylinder Lock

The Classroom Intruder Cylinder Lock from PDQ enables school staff members to check the locked/unlocked status of a door with an LED indicator, avoiding the need to open the door in order to check the outside lever.
An economical solution for upgrading classroom security and an easy retrofit, the cylindrical lock fits into a standard 161 door prep.  
The Classroom Intruder Cylinder Lock is equipped with a side-positioned control button and red LED. To check if the lever is locked, pushing the button located on the inside of the lock will illuminate the LED -— there’s no need to risk opening the door in an emergency.
Available in both XGT and GT cylindrical lock platforms, the locks are offered with cylinder housings compatible with Best® Small Format Inter-changeable cores, Schlage® Large Format Interchangeable cores and most others. 
Keying options compatible with most key systems are available. Standard finish is 626 (US26D) satin chrome.  
The locks may also be specified in other finishes. Tested and certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.2-2011 Grade 1 for Bored Locks and Latches, and UL 10C Listed for 3 hours. The XGT platform has been tested through more than 4 million cycles, four times the ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standard. It’s also been lever torque tested to 3000 inch-pounds, four times the ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standard.
