The ELK-6032 Two-Way Wireless Outdoor PIR Motion Sensor is the ideal wireless solution for perimeter detection, spot/area detection, or for immediate perimeter/boundary detection directly on a structure (walls and rooftops). It features bi-directional communication, allowing each signal sent from the sensor to be acknowledged by the ELK Two-Way Wireless transceiver to ensure reliable operation and save battery life. Cutting edge techniques such as frequency hopping and UL approved jamming detection defend against interference, hacking, andjamming of the wireless communications. Dual element PIR detection virtually eliminates detection of smaller animals and SMDA logic improves immunity against various noise factors such as climate changes and vegetation sway.
The ELK-6032 offers the flexibility to meet the needs of a variety of applications. The detection area can be easily customized with multiple area angle and detection length adjustments. Optimal detection patterns can be configured with pre-cut masking seals. A battery saver timer, with 2 time settings, extends battery life.
