EL SEGUNDO, CA – December 27 2016 – NC4, the leading supplier of cyber threat sharing solutions, held a special live webcast last week to make exciting product announcements about the newly acquired Soltra business. The Soltra acquisition and the new Soltra product announcements demonstrate NC4’s continuing commitment to improving the cyber defense of communities and companies who share threat intelligence. Toward those efforts, NC4 will be releasing multiple product versions based on what had previously been known as Soltra Edge 2.9.

The presenters for the webcast, which is now available for viewing at http://www.nc4.com/pages/nc4-live.aspx, included:
•            Mark Clancy – Soltra Founder
•            Jim Montagnino – NC4 CEO and President
•            John Cohen -  Former acting Undersecretary for Intelligence and Analysis and Counter-Terrorism Coordinator, US DHS
•            George Johnson – NC4 Vice President Cyber Solutions

"Now that NC4 has completed the recent acquisition of Soltra, we're pleased to start rolling out a new family of CTX/Soltra Edge solutions for a variety of different customer needs. These solutions not only provide great benefits for cyber threat intelligence sharing today, they also provide an exciting foundation for our future cyber solutions," said Jim Montagnino, NC4 CEO and President.

The new Soltra solutions will join the NC4 Cyber Threat Exchange (CTX) cyber solutions family and will be rebranded as CTX/Soltra Edge. NC4 plans to release several CTX/Soltra Edge solutions.

CTX/Soltra Edge will be a foundational platform solution for the Soltra solution family and will include two-way sharing capabilities with AIS, FS-ISAC, and other providers. It is currently available for download and use on a trial basis on.  Pricing will start at $15,000/year. However, a special introductory price of $8,500, for the first year, is available for those that purchase before March 15, 2017.

CTX/Soltra Edge Enterprise is for those organizations that want to exploit cyber threat sharing at an advanced level. It will include additional annual services and support programs. It will also include multiple adapters and services to create special sharing programs with trusted groups. This solution will also be available as of December 19, 2016.

CTX/Soltra Edge LE is a limited edition of Soltra Edge. It will be available as a free solution and will be available prior to March 15th of 2017 with some limited capabilities. Support services will be limited to the free online community forums.

NC4 also announced that an enhanced version of CTX/Soltra Edge would be available by March 15. More information about the enhanced version will be available in early 2017.

The combination of existing NC4 solutions with CTX/Soltra Edge provides an advanced view of cyber threat intelligence. “By using the computer for what it is good at – structured information sharing – and letting humans do what they do best more efficiently – finding signal in the noise and discussing what the right ‘questions’ are to ask of the data they are seeing – we create huge efficiencies for scarce resources and allow groups of companies to pool resources and talents to solve problems that are bigger than any one company alone,” said George Johnson, NC4 Vice President Cyber Solutions.

NC4 is working to integrate CTX/Soltra Edge into its information sharing solutions which are designed for robust community discussion and communication about cyberthreats. Additional announcements regarding the CTX/Soltra Edge platform, updates about integration with the NC4 CTX collaboration suite, and other important cyber threat protection details will be made on January 27, 2017.
