Training flights to focus on handling distress calls, hijackings

CANTON, Ohio --

The North American Aerospace Defense Command will conduct practice flights on Thursday over a few Ohio cities.

Residents in Canton, Toledo and Youngstown may see and hear the NORAD training exercises that will take place in the afternoon.

The training flights will focus on how to handle distress calls, hijackings and dangerous military activity.
