Trango Systems, Inc., provider of high-capacity point-to-point microwave backhaul solutions, announced today that the company is shipping the new 24 GHz Trango StrataLink 24 wireless backhaul solution. The StrataLink 24 is an ultra-high capacity, carrier-class, microwave point-to-point system offering outstanding performance and a robust feature set.
The StrataLink is built for a wide variety of service provider and enterprise applications requiring reliable, high capacity connectivity between locations. The system operates in the 24 GHz unlicensed band and has recently been granted formal FCC Part 15.249 and Industry Canada certification.
This all-outdoor, fixed, point-to-point wireless system boasts industry leading system gain (for longer links) and the highest spectral efficiency available in the 24.05-24.25 GHz frequency range. The StrataLink 24 reaches throughput speeds of 750 Mbps full duplex (1.5 Gbps aggregate) on a single 60 MHz channel. With XPIC/ 2+0 configurations the system can support 1.5 Gbps full duplex (3 Gbps aggregate). This carrier-grade wireless backhaul link system features variable channels sizes from 10-60 MHz, selectable modulations from QPSK to 1024 QAM, optional antenna sizes, and hitless ACM with adaptive channel sizing.
