Image Vault, a member of the FKI Security Group of companies, today announced the introduction of the Image Vault "PRO-LITE" model. The newest addition to the Image Vault product family is identical to the Image Vault "PRO" Series; excepting the fact the PRO-LITE series does not offer interface capabilities to other devices such as access control systems, alarm panels, ATMs, and POS cash register systems.
Another notable point of differentiation is the list price for PRO-LITE, which begins at $800 less than comparable Image Vault PRO Series models. The PRO-LITE model is the perfect product for customers unconcerned with interface capabilities that are seeking a low cost, full-featured DVR.
The Image Vault PRO-LITE model, Version 8.3, retains all the advantages of the Image Vault DVR, Version 8.0; including faster record rates, smaller image sizes and the migration from the Windows 98 operating system (OS) to Windows XPe.
"Greater installation simplicity and cost savings are the two most common elements we've noted in our overall market feedback," said Steve Aronson, Image Vault's Marketing Director. "In response to customer requests, the Image Vault product team has not only launched Image Vault PRO-LITE model, Version 8.3; but we've also substantially reduced prices by at least 15% across the entire Image Vault product group." The list price for the Image Vault "EZ" Series has also been reduced by 25%; and the EZ model has also been migrated successfully to Windows XPe.
According to Brandon Ring, National Sales Manager, Image Vault, "we now have a full suite of highly competitive DVR products, with which our dealers can use to attack every segment of the security dealer and distributor marketplace."
