PORTLAND, Ore., November 28, 2018 – Tripwire, Inc., a leading global provider of security and compliance solutions for enterprises and industrial organizations, has made several advances in its industrial control system (ICS) capabilities over the past year, and has now announced that industry veterans have joined its team to advance those investments.
Tripwire’s IT and OT (operational technology) solutions provide a comprehensive suite of technologies to view, monitor, and respond to threats from the enterprise business network into the plant environment. Capabilities include passive asset discovery and monitoring, visibility into configurations and vulnerabilities, and real-time change detection. New products launched this year, including Tripwire Data Collector and Tripwire Industrial Visibility, enhance these capabilities through the integration of industrial protocols.
Industry veterans and experts have joined Tripwire to deliver Tripwire's ICS solutions to critical infrastructure, manufacturing and other industrial operators:
Stephen Wojtowicz, director of industrial sales at Tripwire, joined the company earlier this year to lead its industrial sales team. Wojtowicz has a strong record of success with technical sales and global sales management across a broad range of industries. He comes to Tripwire from ProSoft Technology (also a Belden company), where he was director of global business development. Prior to that, Wojtowicz spent 16 years at Rockwell Automation.
Gregg Cooper has joined Tripwire as director of industrial market access. Cooper comes to Tripwire after a 17-year career with Rockwell Automation, and 11 years with Horizon Solutions in sales and management.
Tim Allen has joined Tripwire as a strategic account executive for industrial, moving to the team from ProSoft Technology. Allen also worked seven years at Rockwell Automation, most recently as sales team leader and channel development.
Matt Robie joined Tripwire as industrial account manager. Before Tripwire, Robie held the role of regional sales manager at JBT FoodTech. Prior to that, Robie worked at Rockwell Automation for six years, most recently as channel sales engineer.
Gary DiFazio was named as strategic marketing director for industrial cybersecurity at Tripwire. In his previous role at Tripwire DiFazio drove the integration of Tripwire security solutions with Belden Industrial networking products Tofino, Hirschmann, and GarretCom.
Robert Landavazo joined Tripwire last year as ICS engineer. Landavazo comes to Tripwire from PNM Resources, where held positions such as NERC Security Compliance Administrator and EMS Engineer.
Updates to Tripwire’s overall sales structure also represent strong industrial experience:
Chris Williams, global vice president of sales and marketing, joined Tripwire earlier this summer. Prior to Tripwire, Williams held the position of vice president of global accounts at Belden, where he was responsible for driving integrated sales across Belden’s various brands. Williams came to Belden after 13 years with Rockwell Automation, where he held several sales leadership roles.
Joe Rich was named vice president of North America sales for Tripwire earlier this year. Rich joined from ProSoft Technology, where he led significant growth for the Belden subsidiary as vice president of global sales, marketing, and support. Rich holds extensive industrial expertise, previously leading growth efforts at Danfoss Power Electrics and Rockwell Automation.
This announcement follows recent news of product developments such as OT network traffic monitoring, enhanced data collection through expanded protocols and integrations, and advancements in security configuration, vulnerability management, and logging.
