Security staffing firm recognized by trade magazine for consistent training programs

AlliedBarton Security Services, a leading U.S.-based provider of manned security personnel, earned recognition for its training programs two years in a row.

In 2006, the company was named to Training magazine's Top 125 list, and the company repeated the coup this year. AlliedBarton was the first security services company that made the list.

Bill Whitmore, CEO of AlliedBarton, said that training is the name of the game when it comes to retaining clients. He noted that the company has 100-full-time trainers, and can specialize its security staff with such services as "fire safety officer" as well as CPR and first aid, plus a number of industry specific training programs.

Training magazine is an industry trade publication for employee trainers in the U.S. Many other recipients on the list are Fortune 500-type companies.
