    AlliedBarton to co-host workplace violence prevention seminar

    Forest Advisors’ Pam Paziotopoulos and AlliedBarton’s Brent O'Bryan to address attendees

    CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - May 21, 2012) - AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, and HR Plus, a leading provider of comprehensive solutions for employment and background screening, in partnership with Forest Advisors and the Tinley Park Emergency Management Agency will host a free workplace violence prevention seminar. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive, Tinley Park, IL.

    Pam Paziotopoulos, Senior Vice President, Workplace & Intimate Partner Violence, Forest Advisors, will be discussing domestic violence and its impact on the workplace at the seminar. "The workplace is where employees who are being abused spend at least eight hours a day," she said. "It can be an ideal place for them to get the support and resources to end the abuse in their lives. Employers that identify, manage and confront domestic violence in their workplace have the power to save money and save lives."

    Brent O'Bryan, SPHR, AlliedBarton's Vice President of Learning & Development agrees with Paziotopoulos and Carr as he speaks to the workplace violence spectrum and truly how many individuals are threatened by violence each year.
