Concealed Electric Power Tranfer (CEPT)

May 12, 2010

Securitron Magnalock has introduced the Concealed Electric Power Tranfer (CEPT) to effectively route low-voltage wires between the frame and the door's electrified hardware. The CEPT is designed to be mortised into the edges of the door and frame, generally above the second hinge. The CEPT-10 is a 10-wire design that provides 2 -18AWG wires and 8 -22AWG wires. The CEPT-C5E is a 9-wire model that offers 8 - 24AWG CAT-5E wires and 1 - 22AWG wire and features Molex connectors. The EL-CEPT is a 12-wire unit that provides 12 - 22AWG wires and ASSA ABLOY's ElectroLynx-style connectors for seamless integration with other ElectroLynx compatible products. All versions are UL10C rated and feature 7/8-inch knockouts on the back boxes, which accomodate standard EMF-type fittings.
