Productivity, reduced administration costs to boost demand for IAM solutions

According to a new report issued by market research firm RNCOS, the market for Identity and Access Management solutions is expected to grow by nearly 23 percent between 2009 and 2012.

The report, "Identity and Access Management Market Forecast to 2012," says that the increase will be driven by the need for improved security, productivity and reduced administration costs.

The report also forecasts a large increase in the adoption of IAM solutions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific region, which will account for 62 percent of the market by 2012. The Americas currently dominate the global IAM market.
