AMS Australia product nominated for Physical Security Product of the Year

The latest innovative single solution to access/door control monitoring from AMS Australia is the WISDM 3000 Series. So far, the product has been short-listed as one out of four finalists for the Physical Security Product of the Year category in the IFSEC 2008 Security Industry Awards. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony that’s set to take place at the Rogue opening night and party of the International Fire & Security Exhibition and Conference.

This is the third year that AMS Australia has exhibited at IFSEC, and the second time they have been nominated as finalists in the IFSEC physical security product awards category.

The WISDM 3000 Series access door control units form an all-inclusive and integrated multi-functional door product. They are designed for high-profile security installations and are ideal for any areas where security and crime reduction is needed, such as government, transport, education and utilities applications.

Benefiting most high security systems, the WISDM 3000 has a rich feature set that is completely unique in the international security market. One of the most exciting features is the in-built access and door monitoring which has a low visual impact and can be easily integrated into a CCTV monitoring system.

It offers access control and monitoring in one architecturally streamlined unit and combines intruder detection, electro-magnetic locking, visual status indication, door status detection with audio visual warning, door sequencing and CCTV activation, all in a single package. Installation is designed for single, 1 and 1/2 or double doors. Each unit can also be designed and custom made for particular applications.

The WISDM 3000 series will have its first official launch at IFSEC 2008 to an international audience and will be shown alongside the complete range of AMS covert lock monitoring hardware together with the new monitored access panel for ceilings, walls and floors, on stand 8000, Hall 6. The official Australian launch will follow in June 2008.

"It’s an exciting time for AMS Australia to receive international recognition at such a prestigious event as IFSEC," said Trevor Leisk, managing director of AMS Australia. "In particular, reaching the awards finals in the best new physical security category offers the opportunity to bring our innovation to a global audience. We are also looking forward to welcoming our international clients at the show and we are confident that there will be enormous interest in our high quality range of innovative lock monitoring hardware being put through their paces on the AMS stand."
