Torrance, CA, March 28, 2007 Ć¢ā¬ā Last year AMAG Technology entered the security market with its brand new Symmetry Video Management Software and Symmetry Edge Network Video Server (ENVSĆĀ®). Released this year at ISC West are several new features that improve the performance and functionality of Symmetry Video.
Symmetry Video's enhanced recording features allow users to record video from IP cameras just seconds before and after an event rather than in complete minutes. A few seconds can be the difference between recording or missing an important event.
Guards can take advantage of improved features within Symmetry VideoĆ¢ā¬ā¢s Identity Check.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢ Guards can compare a live ID badge photo with a stored ID photo to see if the person using the card is the same person stored in the computer.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢ Control up to four doors and cameras from a single PC.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢ Guards can control doors and provide manual restrictions when necessary.
Ć¢ā¬Ā¢ Guards can manually search for a card holder and his transaction log when a person does not have their card.
For large companies, guards can view a second virtual matrix on a PC providing a maximum of 72 cameras displayed on a screen.
