Las Vegas, NV (September 24, 2007) - Dortronics Systems, Inc. is featuring the company's innovative EZ-Access Access Control Solution here at ASIS 2007. The system, which is designed to control one or two doors with one reader each or one door with two readers for in/out control, has a memory capacity for 2,000 active user codes for secure off-line operation. The system also has the capability of providing access into remote facilities without the use of dedicated phone lines or an expensive on-site network of computer systems.
"This compact, stand-alone system delivers high-end access control functionality for smaller applications providing both large and small businesses with a cost-efficient means of implementing an advanced access control solution," said John Fitzpatrick, President, Dortronics Systems, Inc. "EZ-Access fulfills a large void in the access control market for small businesses with limited entry/egress points, as well as for large businesses and facilities that need to limit access to specific areas. The applications are quite extensive when you start to list all of the specific uses this solution fulfills."
The 2-door controller is equipped with two heavy-duty SPDT 3 amp relays, one for each controlled door or gate. For added versatility, an auxiliary open collector DC output can each be used to trigger external relays for CCTV, etc. The EZ-Access door controller has a capacity for 2,000 active card holders. This 26-bit Wiegand compatible system is also ideal for exterior doors or gates.
For full system functionality, secured EZ-Prox cards, key fobs or any of the Dortronics 26 bit Wiegand keypads can be used to gain access. EZ-Access users can easily be programmed into or out of the system using a programming card or master code entered by the keypad, without the need for a computer or complicated software. With Dortronics' EZ-Access Control System, text file history reports are viewed with standard computer programs such as Notepad or Excel, and audit trails are easily downloadable with the EZ-Logger software provided.
