SIA to Present HSPD-12 Forum in D.C.

Event to be hosted at GSA auditorium on Aug. 23

The Security Industry Association, along with the Smart Card Alliance will sponsor a forum on the Approval and Acquisition of Products and Services for HSPD-12 Implementation hosted by GSA at the GSA Headquarters Auditorium in Washington, D.C. (1800 F Street, NW, Washington DC 20405) on Wednesday, Aug. 23 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Immediate registration for this event is strongly encouraged.

Topics will include:

- GSA Approved Products List (APL) - The general acquisition process for HSPD-12 services and products: Schedule 84 & Schedule 70 - NIST overview of current state of standards relating directly to HSPD-12 - Status of the GSA Shared Services RFP Please note that a representative from the GSA Ft. Worth Acquisition Center has been invited to participate in this event. *topics and speakers subject to change
