OMNIKEY Expands Americas' OEM Business with New Regional Sales Director

Irvine, Calif. - OMNIKEY, one of the world´s leading manufacturers of smart card readers, has announced that David Koma has joined OMNIKEY Americas as regional sales director. In this new role, Mr. Koma will primarily focus on supporting OMNIKEY's strong OEM customer base in the Americas and the development of new OEM opportunities.

Most recently, Koma was director of sales, North America, for the Datastrip Group, where he was responsible for developing key relationships in physical security and identity management business segments for the mobile biometric terminal manufacturer. Koma also worked at Gemplus for seven years in the roles of senior account manager for the security and ID business unit, director of business development for the financial services and security business unit, and product marketing manager. In all, David brings 20 years of global experience to OMNIKEY.
