Ridgefield Park, N.J., June 19, 2012 -- DVTEL, INC., IP video surveillance technology innovator, today announced that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). DVTEL’s Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) integrates with Lenel’s OnGuard access control system to allow the correlation of video surveillance and access control data through a single interface.
“DVTEL has completed the required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. End users can now leverage the power of both platforms to build a security system that provides a comprehensive view of all video and access points within a facility,” said Gidon Lissai, director, strategic alliances, Lenel. “We look forward to DVTEL’s continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”
“Today’s users require open systems that provide ease of integration to other devices and systems to enable the development of a best-in-class solution that provides an overarching view of an enterprise’s entire security operation,” said Yoav Stern, president and CEO, DVTEL. “By integrating Latitude with open access control systems, such as Lenel’s OnGuard, we can provide the industry with the most effective security technologies while minimizing any integration challenges.”
The Latitude NVMS is a fully scalable, enterprise-class video management system. Its network-based architecture enables simultaneous live monitoring from multiple stations and is easily configurable for storage on and off-site. Latitude can be configured to store and view one camera or thousands of cameras and is able to monitor across an unlimited number of servers. The 6.2 version of Latitude includes TruWitness™, an award-winning mobile application that transforms Android-based smart phones into real-time surveillance cameras and provides users with a level of situational awareness that was previously unavailable.
