Company's IS2000 security management software now integrates with the Onity Wireless Lock

Irvine, California July 30, 2012- IMRON Corporation, a leading provider of security management solutions, has teamed up with Onity, a leading provider of electronic locks to provide a new wireless locking solution for the commercial industry. IMRON Corporation's flagship product, IS2000, now integrates with the Onity Wireless Lock (OWL) using its open architecture interface. Onity is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corporation.

IS2000 is at the forefront of security technology, combining access control, intrusion, and video management under a single seamless platform. Offering scalability and an intuitive interface, IS2000 is a powerful solution. With the addition of the OWL integration, users can now create a myriad of possibilities in controlling access for both wireless and wired requirements.

The OWL can be easily upgraded to various reader types – HID iClass, MIFARE Classic, 125 KHz Prox and Magstripe – and from offline to wireless with minimal modifications. Most of the existing hardware is utilized to minimize cost to the customers. Reader changes can be performed in less than five minutes, while wireless upgrades are as simple as removing the trim panel, mounting the wireless antenna, and pushing a button.

"The IS2000 OWL integration allows IMRON Corporation to provide a complete and robust solution for the wireless arena," said Imron Hussain, President of IMRON Corporation. "We are excited to extend these capabilities while maintaining a cost-conscious package."

“Integration provides a cohesive and economical method of securing facility locations that were previously cost prohibitive due to the traditional cost of wired panels,” said Onity President Laird Hamberlin. “This partnership underlines our commitment to the security industry by offering a broader portfolio of locking solutions to meet our customers’ needs.”
