Cansec’s MAP1-4 Modular Access Panel fits in the palm of your hand yet supports 4 reader controlled doors and up to 100,000 cardholders. An onboard RJ45 port allows the MAP1-4 to be directly connected to a LAN network.
The MAP1-4 consists of two discrete modules, each with their own powerful onboard processor. The I/O Module handles the low level device monitoring and control functions. The Panel Logic Module handles the high level panel functionality. This multi-processor approach dramatically improves performance and allows advances in processor speeds and memory capacities to be readily exploited.
Fred Dawber, founder and President states that “the MAP1-4 can be provisioned for 2 or 4 doors so you only pay for the capacity you need”. Field provisioning allows doors to be added as needed without additional panel hardware.
