Expanding the Yale nexTouch™ product line for even more applications, the new nexTouch Sectional Mortise Keypad Lock provides robust security for a variety of applications within commercial and multi-family buildings. Just like the original cylindrical nexTouch lock, the new mortise lock platform is ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified with keypads offered in a capacitive touchscreen or ADA-compliant pushbutton versions. Other features include privacy mode with Door Position Sensor, optional security deadbolt, 9V battery backup, support of up to 500 unique user codes, and more.

A truly scalable solution, nexTouch can be used as a stand-alone keypad lock that uses a PIN code to manage access; can easily be upgraded to utilize Data-on-Card technology as part of the Yale Multi-Family Solution; or integrated with ZigBee or Z-Wave-capable alarm systems in small business environments. The ability to install a single lock that can utilize multiple technologies allows facilities to minimize their investment costs while providing an easy migration path to more connected systems.
