Honeywell Launches Connected Hospitality Platform to Unify Hotel Operations

Honeywell's new connected hospitality platform brings together hotel operations, access control, guestroom management and energy systems in a unified cloud-based environment.
Honeywell has introduced a new generation of connected hospitality solutions aimed at giving hotel operators greater visibility, control and efficiency while improving the guest experience.
The cloud-based portfolio is designed to address industry challenges including rising guest expectations, labor shortages and increasing energy costs by bringing together systems that are often managed separately. Honeywell said integrating security, fire safety, energy management and guestroom access can help hotels improve operational visibility, streamline decision-making and deliver more consistent guest experiences.
According to the company, the new solutions automate and connect critical hotel functions, reducing the workload for onsite staff while enabling more data-driven operations. Honeywell said the platform is designed to help hotels improve guest experiences through more responsive and personalized environments, strengthen life safety and security with greater guestroom access visibility, streamline operations through centralized management and automation and improve energy efficiency through occupancy-based optimization.
"The future of hospitality is intelligent, connected and increasingly autonomous," said Neha Jaitpal, global GM, Hospitality for Honeywell Building Automation. "Our latest innovations unify critical hotel systems – from access control to guestrooms and building operations – giving operators the data and control to move beyond reactive management."
At the center of the portfolio is Honeywell Forge Hospitality, which serves as a centralized command center for hotel operations. The platform provides visibility into guestrooms, maintenance activities and energy systems, allowing operators to monitor room status, optimize energy use and respond to issues through automated alerts. Honeywell said the platform is intended to reduce room downtime, improve workflows and support performance across individual properties and global hotel portfolios.
The company also introduced updates to its access control offerings through the Onity Cloud Suite, which combines locks, readers, gateways and software into a single connected platform. Built around the new Trillium 2.0 lock, the solution provides real-time access visibility, mobile entry, digital wallet capabilities and simplified credential management. Honeywell said connecting guestroom and shared-space access can improve security oversight while reducing operational blind spots.
Honeywell also expanded its INNCOM guestroom management system with tighter integration between INNCOM thermostats and Onity locks, allowing guestrooms to automatically adjust based on occupancy and guest entry. The company said the enhancements are intended to create more seamless guest stays while reducing unnecessary HVAC usage and minimizing manual intervention.
In addition, Honeywell introduced the INNCOM Premium Switch Series, featuring a modern design, intuitive controls and options such as customizable backlight indication and blackout mode to improve guest comfort.
Honeywell said the new hospitality portfolio reflects its broader strategy of helping hotels build connected, cloud-based infrastructure that supports increasingly autonomous operations by bringing together critical building systems.
