The new switches are ADA compliant and feature LED sensors that can be activated with a hand wave, remote control or an optional manual override button. They are equipped with an 18-gauge stainless steel faceplate and are available with a variety of graphic options.
According to Camden Door Controls, the switches use microwave sensing technology that emits low-power microwaves to detect motion. The company said the technology is designed to respond quickly while maintaining reliable performance in harsh environments and high-traffic locations.
The CM-241 and CM-242 Series switches are rated IP65 and operate in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to +60°C). Camden said the devices are designed for reliable operation in indoor and outdoor conditions, including rain and snow.
