    Farpointe Data's Conekt-compatible mobile access CSR-35L smart card reader deploys a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Field Adjustable Range (FAR) read range that can be cycled from short to medium to long to maximum to presentation and, then, back to short again. Using a control card available with each unit, the mullion-style reader provides a default, or standard, read range of six inches. Read ranges can be from 1.5 inch (38 mm) to 15 feet (4.6 m). Using the FAR technology, installers can easily incorporate exactly the read range needed to make the CSR-35L smart card reader most functional.
