The Infinity Line of Access Control Readers from Deister Electronic were designed for today’s and tomorrow’s dynamic and accelerating credential environment. This is an environment where reader obsolescence as a result of new, more secure credentials and interface technologies is a serious and expensive problem. Today’s readers must be ready to work with new and presently unknown advances in security. Deister’s Future Proof™ technology allows for firmware updates via either OSDP (when used with compatible Access Control systems) and/or Deister Utility software.
System interface capabilities include OSDP, Wiegand and Magstripe.
Supported credentials are broad and increasing with selectable capabilities for DESFire® EV1/2, Mifare® Classic, HID Prox, HID iClass® (CSN or sector), proxLite®, AWID, PIV, CAC and many others. Turn these technologies on or off with OSDP supported Access Controls systems or configuration cards or with Deister’s standalone Utility software.
Encryption may be enabled for all supported credentials via OSDP and compatible Access Control systems; and the full range of encryption technologies is supported for selectable encryption for credentials such as EV2.
Infinity readers are available in single gang and mullion formats; with and without keypad; and in either white or black.
